Joining the NWN Mystara Project as a member is a way to become a part of a community of Mystara fans who are planning on using the NWN game to play in their favorite setting.

By becoming a member, you can more easily reach other players & dm's who are Mystara fans. You can form groups to recreate your favorite settings and adventure modules. Players can form groups of adventurers to adventure together as guilds. Dungeon Masters can announce their Mystaran game events and find players.

PLEASE NOTE: After the game is released, members will be periodically asked to confirm their membership status, in order to keep the members list current.

Listed below in alphabetical order are the first members of hopefully many more to come.

Member Info: I am mostly interested in working on my campaign and DMing it, but I'd love to hear about other people's Mystaras where I can play. I also think that, if my life ever slows down, this might be a great chance to resume work on the abandoned MOrient project.

Campaign/Module Project: I am currently running a campaign that I'd love to port to Neverwinter. Can't tell much about it, or I'd ruin the fun for my online players as most of them are bound to visit the site sometime. All I can say is that it is a long campaign, and behind it is my own interpretation of Mystara's past.

Member Info: I'm interested in working on just about any part of Karameikos that needs work; just put me where you need me, and I'll try to come up with a worthy setting. I've got the programming experience necessary to write any involved scripts, I'm intimately familiar with the Karameikos portion of the Mystaran campaign setting, and I'd like to think I've got enough creativity to get the job done. Just let me know what you'd like help on, and I'll get to it.

Member Info: Hail fellow travelers of the principalities and kingdoms of
Mystara. I started playing D&D on Mystara back in 1980 when I was a wee-one. After a few years I started taking on DMing and was hooked. Like most of us die-hard D&D fans I have weathered the ages and changes in the game. I was utterly distraught when discovering that WotC was not planning a rerelease of the campaign world for 3e. To this day, my players still spend their days in the Juggling Ogre Inn and Taproom in the fair city of Threshold and occasionally are called to visit with their few time companion, His Majesty, King Stephan of Karameikos. Having run the world for over 20 years now, I have come to know it well. The realm of Mystara has become a second home to me, and my players' characters have come to know it well, though are still finding surprises in its lush history and peoples.

Member Info: I've run the Mystaran campaign in one form or another over the last fifteen years (since long before it was known as Mystara). I have long thought that Mystara was the best developed of the TSR worlds and was saddened to see it cancelled. But I'm pleased that other fans are keeping the world alive.
Campaign/Module Project: I'm working on a single-player Glantrian campaign. The player will primarily be a wizard who is trying to discover the secrets of Glantri and become a more powerful wizard. One of my inspirations is the TV shows 'The X-Files'. The character will be a new member of the Glantrian Bureau of Investigation (GBI), a covert agency working for Prince Jherek. The objective of the GBI is to discover plots against Glantri. The GBI is not an enforcement agency (unlike the real-world FBI), its purpose is solely to uncover threats to Glantri. Since Glantri is home to many internal and external threats, this could prove to be an interesting campaign. Additionally, the player will have the chance to learn about the secrets of the high-ranking Glantrians and their magics, eventually becoming a wizardly noble.

The NWN Mystara project is the one thing that was missing to get more people to enjoy this great setting and I hope to be able to help this happen.

Module Project: HWA 1,2&3 Nightwail, nightrage and nightstorm.

I have a large collection of the Old D&D books and have just recently started trying the new 3e stuff. I don't have alot of computer expirience other than playing games, but will help were I can.

Campaign/Module Project: Will be willing to help wherever I can. Would like to see norwold developed and the CM modules. Also if the NWN engine can support it X10 would be quite a challenge.

Member Info: Greetings, I've been buying Mystara products on purpose for umpteen years, but never actually DM'd or played in one (sniff. I'd be willing to help the Project with about d6-1 hours a week of mapping tiles, typing things into databases and all that kind of tedious fiddly stuff.

I've DM'd and played for a quarter century now, do database stuff at work, and have gone back to work part time to be a geographer when I grow up, so should like playing with maps and tiles. One of four PBEM DM of In The Shadows of Deismaar, set in another fine cancelled product line. Main game web site is: http://itsod.tuarhievel.org/

Member Info: I everyone! I've been playing Mystara for over 11 years now and still enjoying it. I play using OD&D rules, but we'll switch to 3rd Ed once we finish our ultimate campaign (my PCs are 30th+ level and have just embarked their last adventure, that will take them to face the Old Ones and the real essence of the universe). I write for the Mystaran Almanac and hope we will be able to create a vital world thanks to NWN game (hoping it'll come out before we die of old age ;)).

Campaign/Module Project: As a DM I am particularly interested in developing Darokin, Wendar, Denagoth and Norwold (which are under my responsibility in the Almanac group, too), as well as the Isle of Dawn. If I'll ever get the chance and the tools, I'll run online some of my fave adventures like M5, Talons of Night; CM2, The Death Ride; CM1, Test of the Warlords; X2, Castle Amber; X11, Saga of the Shadowlord and some other D&D modules heavily modified to fit my campaign, as well as some of my own adventures (which my players absolutely loved).

Member Info: Mystara has been my favorite setting for many years, it started late actually as I first knew about it when ad&d 2e Ed settings were coming out(Karameikos & Glantri). Apart from the CD adventures I think they were great. I was surprised to hear about low sales. I then purchased d&d products from Mystara, trying to get better maps and such, worked well enough actually.

Member Info: I always loved plaing D&D and when I went to university my campaign kind of came to an end. So thats why I'm very excited about recreating it with Neverwinter Nights. I'm also very excited to find that their is a whole group of peole like me who are into the Mystara setting and am very interested in helping with and/or playing in other peoples projects.

Campaign/Module Project: I plan on creating Specularum and surrounding areas to start with. I'm also interested in recreating a few modules such as The Veiled Society and the Isle of Dread and pretty much the campaign I used to DM. (Which was set throughtout Mystara but with Specularum as base camp so to speak.)

Member Info: Mystara was the first, and pretty much still is, the D&D world that I played in. Unfortunately, the Mystara line of games were discontinued not long after I gotten into it, so I was pretty much stuck with only knowledge in a few areas of the world. My favorite nation is Karameikos. It's been a while though since I have played a Mystaran game. I'm sure the NWN Mystara Project will take me into its world again!
